Het Verwijderalarm is nog erger geworden ten opzichte van vorige week. Toen kwamen we al met de mededeling dat zeer veel titels verwijderd zullen worden door Netflix, maar daar zijn er nog eens 125 (!) bij gekomen.
Tien procent van het aanbod
Het komt zelden voor dat er zoveel titels verwijderd worden door Netflix. Vorige week kondigden we al ruim honderd titels aan die na 27 februari niet meer te zien zijn. Een nadere check leerde ons dat het daar helaas niet bij blijft. Ook op 28 februari zijn veel titels de klos. In totaal gaat het om 245 films en series, zo’n tien procent van het aanbod van Netflix.
Er wordt dus een forse hap uit het aanbod genomen, maar wij vertrouwen er op dat Netflix er voor zorgt dat er in maart en de maanden daarna genoeg voor in de plaats komt. We weten al een beetje wat we in maart op Netflix kunnen verwachten. Voorlopig zullen we het echter wel zonder films als The Hangover: Part II, Perks of Being a Wallflower en Sex and the City. Ook Home Alone wordt verwijderd door Netflix. In het verleden is gebleken dat films en series later ook weer terug kunnen keren. Dit hangt echter van verschillende factoren af, maar door een suggestie in te dienen bij Netflix kan de kans wel vergroot worden.
